Brookfield Europe is part of Brookfield Asset Management Inc and was created following the completion of the acquisition of the Multiplex group by Brookfield Asset Management Inc.

In Europe, Brookfield has real estate and infrastructure operations engaged in Asset and Fund Management, Development, Construction, and Facilities Management.

Hammerson plc

Hammerson is a leading European property company, with operations in the UK, France and Germany. The group invests in and develops shopping centres, retail parks and offices. Its portfolio includes around 1.2 million square metres of retail space and is valued at £6.3 billion. Most recently Hammerson has completed the multi award winning redevelopment of the Bullring in Birmingham – the largest retail-led regeneration project in Europe – and is currently bringing forward major city centre schemes in Bristol and Leicester.

Standard Life Investments has property assets of more than £12bn, making it one of the largest real estate investors in Europe. Launched as an investment management company in 1998, it has a total of £123bn in assets under management and operates in the UK, Canada, Ireland, Hong Kong and the USA, and has representative offices in Germany and South Korea. Together with Hammerson, it is the owner of Brent Cross Shopping Centre.
